Depending on the level of waterproofness and purpose, jackets are divided into:
– windstopper jackets
– inshore jackets (for coastal sailing)
– offshore jackets (for the open sea)
– ocean jackets (for the most demanding conditions)
The same applies to trousers: short, long and “salopette” models with straps.
Summer models also include UV protection, which allows for safe and comfortable sailing even in bright sunlight.
