Cyclops Marine, founded in 2018, combines expertise in wireless load sensing and sailing with the goal of becoming the standard for load measurement in nautical applications. In the past, load sensing was available only to racing teams and superyachts; with Cyclops technology, sensors are simple to install, can be used on any vessel, and provide exceptionally useful information that anyone can understand – America’s Cup technology now accessible to all.

Their foundations were laid at Cambridge University, home to some of the world’s leading experts in load sensing technology. The technology was developed in collaboration with INEOS TEAM UK, the British America’s Cup team. Their team has grown to include broader technical and commercial expertise, as well as some high-level sailors. They spend considerable time talking with customers, which helps them discover what works well and how to improve.
